How Does the Alma ClearLift™ Laser Treatment Work?

Collagen is what gives your skin its structure, as you age the collagen in your skin naturally gets looser. Other factors such as sun damage and damage from free radicals can wrinkle, blemish and deteriorate the collagen and skin and make it appear thin. The laser works by tightening and rebuilding the collagen, so skin looks firmer with less wrinkles. Working best on soft, crepey areas of the skin such as the neck, eyes and décolleté, the ClearLift™ Laser Treatment uses fractional light technology which means it does not injure the skin.

By only allowing short bursts or fractions of light to enter the deeper layers of the skin it helps to correct pigmentation and stimulate the collagen tissue without damage to the surface. The pores then close and the skin is left tighter, younger looking and with a healthy glow.

The neck responds beautifully, and this is a thin area that is typically very delicate and difficult to treat with other modalities without pain and discomfort.

What Does the ClearLift™ Treatment Feel Like?

The ClearLift™ treatment feels like tiny dots of electrical stimulation pulsing along the face. It is a very pleasant sensation that is quite comfortable and easy to tolerate. Most clients describe the feeling like a comfortable warmth from the inside out that inspires an instant, natural glow.

Is There Any Downtime Or Side Effects?

ClearLift™ has no downtime. You may return to your regular life activities immediately post treatment. In fact it would be highly recommended to have ClearLift before any special occasion, to get that extra lift and glow.

ClearLift™ is not known to produce any unpleasant or lasting side effects. Some do find that there is slight redness post treatment, but this generally subsides within a few hours.

How Many Sessions Will I Need & How Often?

As with most medical aesthetic procedures, a series of treatments is recommended for optimal results. Anywhere from four to six treatments is preferred. ClearLift™ can be performed as often as once every week. It’s quick, simple, painless and effective!

What Preparations Take Place Before My Treatment?

Prior to treatment, a complimentary consultation will be carried out to confirm suitability for treatment. There is also an opportunity for any questions you may have to be answered. Before treatment commences you will be asked to give informed consent.
